The Funkeys are over....Or Not?

A few weeks ago, a user asked about Funkey's status. Mattel wrote:

UB Funkeys has been cancelled by Mattel. We too are deeply saddened by their decision. Please contact Mattel or start a petition to help bring UB Funkeys back.


Then I wrote to them:

I have heard that the Product, UB Funkeys, has been discontinued. Why has this been done? Who wanted them to be discontinued?? Will they ever come back? Please Reply,as I am a HUGE funkey fan.


And they replied:

The "Universe Link" will be a website built with Yola.It will be called Funkeys of The Web, Or Funkey O.T.W for short. There will be a Blog connected to that Site, so all Posts after July 5th(Funkey O.T.W's release date) will be posted there, but all older posts will be found here.

Another Expansion To WEB.F Universe.

As Henchman Hunt Is Almost Finished, we look back at What We-B-Funkeys used To Be: Just A forum to recruit members from the old forum that was closing. Now We look at it, and from January 3rd to May, We Have A forum,A funzone,a blog, an adoptables site, and soon we will have an RPG. Our "Staff" At WEB.F has been thinking of putting something...In between the different sections of the We-Be-Funkeys Universe.
After Henchman Hunt is done, the "Staff" will start work on this project. I'm not going to give anything away(I've already given you a clue in this post) yet, But It will be an important piece of the WEB.F universe. Stay tuned, and...

I`m sorry, But I`ve been so busy this week, that I haven`t been on the Computer AT ALL!

I know that you have been long awaiting the release On We-B-Funkey`s Universe` new feature:Henchman Hunt. Our Crew At WEB.F has been Working Hard On This New RPG, but can only Work a Few hours or so a week. We Can not Finish this RPG in time,Sadly.
It was originally supposed to come out on May 8th,But the Launch has been moved to sometime between May 15th and May22nd. Check Back here often for updates on the launch.
Sorry For any inconvenience, and we Will try to Get the RPG Done ASAP.

Henchman Hunt Officially Announced

The Second Feature, Henchman Hunt, Is an RPG where Players Will Be able to play as a henchman and Battle Funkeys in Coin Duels. The Official Rules Are posted on We-b-Funkeys, But please note that these rules May Change. Henchman Hunt Will be launched on May 8th, But please note that It isn`t done yet, and it might be postponed until May 15th or 22nd. We will try to work as much as we can on it.

According to the Update Pattern, The DC heroes Update Should come out sometime this week or Next. If Funkeys are still in Progress,that is.

If you don`t think it will, just think about this:

Why Would mattel Put the Joker up for pre-order if the Funkeys weren`t ready. I`m sure they just ran into a Bug or Glitch that would cause them some delay...

Suspicions Rise Again..

By the looks of the no response to the letter I sent to Mattel that was forwarded to the Customer relations department, it looks like we may never know If Dc will come out. We Will Just have to wait until March 19 or 26( Release date calculated by Update pattern) to see if the Heroes will finally Save the Day.
I`m thinking it`s a 50/50 thing,so we will just have to wait..

For those of you that worry,would Mattel put so much work into it(Packaging,funkey designs,etc.) and then just stop when they were about to finish? Think about that.

Back, and Better Than Ever!

The We-Be-Funkeys Forum is open again after being closed for about a week. The Backround color, some post icons,some widgets,Navigation Bar, Support Section, and Welcome Page are all New, along with some other New Stuff.

I also fixed some broken links.


Click on The We-Be-Funkeys Banner on the Right side of the Screen To Go to The Forum.

I`m Starting to Think this whole "Discountinued" think Dosen`t make sense..

Funkeys could very well still be in progress.

There are a whole ton of Funkeys in the Mattel Shop, and I don`t think they are getting rid of the last funkeys,because they are like, $10 with Shipping.

When I was browsing the site I saw a funkeys video that I haven`t seen yet. I thought it was just a video I missed that came out a year ago, but then I saw the date.... (see the pic above. Click on it to view larger)

So that says 2010, and that means that funkeys are work by mattel,that was/is in progress in 2010. So by the way I see it, they aren`t discontinued (hopefully I don`t have to say "yet"). There is still Hope for funkey fans!

Wait a Minute!

Ok, we all think funkeys are done, and that it wasn`t a mess up in the production when the Dc heroes were removed from entertainment earth. But look at this....

This could mean that There WAS a mess up in the making of Dc heroes, and that they might be released! Funkey Fans, we still have hope!

Kirby`s Wii adventure

As you may have heard, kirby is going to be the star of a New Wii Game, Kirby`s wii adventure. The Games was originally supposed to be on Gamecube,but it was canceled. Now it is supposed to come out on the wii in the next year or so. It`s kinda far away to be talking about it, but it just looks so awesome I had to share some info..
